The total number of points of the ultra-long strip screen is not very large, but the width is very long. Generally, the control system of small and medium-sized screens cannot meet the width load requirements, and the cost of large-scale control systems is very high. How to solve the loading of the ultra-long strip screen at the lowest cost, which requires the use of an asynchronous discount control scheme.
Ultra-long strip screen discount control scheme
Divide the super-long strip screen into multiple small strip screens, and then superimpose to form a "new" display screen. The width of the "new" display screen becomes shorter, and the shorter width means more options for the control system. As shown below:

1. Before the discount, the resolution of the bar screen is 1536*64, that is, the total number of points is 98,000, which is within the widest control range of the C16C asynchronous control card, but the normal load width of the C16C is 1024, so the conventional load C16C cannot meet it;
2. According to the width of 512 pixels, the strip screen needs to be divided into 3 segments (1536÷512=3, i.e. 30% off, if it cannot be divided, it will be rounded up), and then reassembled into a "new" display screen After that, the resolution is 512*192, no matter the width or height, obviously C16C can meet the needs;
Note: After the discount, the width of the "new" display screen is the longest segment point, and the height is segment height × discount number.

The parameters in the above table show that the maximum discounted width of C16C is limited to 1024, so is it possible to discount according to the width of 1024?
From the above figure, it can be concluded that if the discount is carried out according to the width of 1024, the resolution of the "new" display screen after the discount is 1024*128, and the total number of points of this resolution is 130,000, which is larger than the control range of C16C. Therefore, if you discount the C16C according to the width of 1024, it will not be able to load.
C36/C36C discount notes:
C36/C36C needs to be calculated in multiples of 256. For example, if it is discounted by 800 dots, the resolution width of the "new" display screen after the discount should be calculated by 1024 dots.
